The following are descriptions of the metadata fields found on the form.

Authors

Enter each author’s name without any designations (Dr., Prof., etc). Click the green plus symbol to add more authors to the submission.

Title

The full title of the work.

Alternative Title

(Optional)

Abstract

A short paragraph description of the purpose and intent of content, usually no more than a few sentences.

Subject Keywords

Begin typing potential keywords into the form and select from a list of existing keywords.

LC Subject Headings

(Optional)

Rights

An additional field to describe terms of reuse that are not included in the Creative Commons license terms.

Description

A general description of the contents of the submission, complementing the abstract if provided.

Number of Page or Duration

Numeric value associated with the content (5 pages, 32 minutes) if applicable.

DC Type Classification

The primary type of content (text, interactive resource, etc) as specified by the Dublin Core Metadata Initiative (DCMI).

Resource Type

The more specific type of learning content (activity, problem set, etc). Select all that apply.

Language

The primary language of the content.

Once the form is complete, click Next.
